Towards a Compassionate City – Marilyn Hamilton & Joshua Malkin

The Compassion Salon, in collaboration with Leeds Festival of Kindness, Compassion and Wellbeing and Compassionate Edinburgh, presents Joshua Malkin and Marilyn Hamilton in conversation.

Thank you to those who joined us for the second of two salons which considered how we integrate compassion into our work, cities, and lives. There is an expanding evidence base for the use of compassion to transform individual and societal health and wellness, so our second salon in this series considered how we integrate compassion into our cities. 

Joshua Malkin is a systems convener, social artist and designer who works with systemic change projects in culture, economy and politics. He is co founder of Kinder Leeds – the Leeds Festival of Kindness, Compassion and Wellbeing Kinder Leeds Festival and is a member of a small holistic think tank Holos Earth.

Marilyn Hamilton is the author of Integral City Book Series: Evolutionary Intelligences for the Human Hive; Inquiry & Action: Designing Impact for the Human Hive; and Reframing Complex Challenges for Gaia’s Human Hives. Dr. Marilyn Hamilton is the founder of Integral City Meshworks Inc.
